Dear LNITT President,

The Fall 1997 Meet of the LNITT Southern Division was held in the Multi-Purpose
Room of the Student Center at Hofstra University on November 8, 1997. It
was a great pleasure to have the first ever presence of an LNITT President,
Robert Lendvai, at this Meet to inspect the activity in the Southern Division.

On behalf of the Hofstra University Table Tennis Club, I cordially extend
my deepest appreciation to all the participants from Columbia University
(30 miles), Cooper Union for the Advacement of Science and Art (30 miles),
Cornell University (250 miles), Johns Hopkins University (290 miles), New
York University (30 miles), Princeton University (100 miles), and Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute (200 miles), in the middle of their busy academic
schedule.

Again this semester, I must thank at least the following two individuals
for having successfully lead a group of exceptionally enthusiastic and
fine athletes to yesterday's meet. Selfless and tireless devotion of Joseph
Su, Director of LNITT Southern Division, and Nobuhiro Inagaki, HUTTC President,
during the past month is to be truly commended by any standard.
