The official Championships hotel is the Kahler Grand Hotel in downtown Rochester, just 5 minutes from the playing venue. Regular shuttle service will be provided between the hotel and venue throughout the competition. Visit the hotel page for more information and to book your reservations (and take advantage of tournament rates) by March 21.

TravelRochester International Airport

For air travel, Rochester is served by Rochester International Airport (airport code: RST), just 8 miles from downtown Rochester.

Though less convenient, it is also possible to fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (airport code: MSP). GO Rochester Direct operates a shuttle service from Minneapolis Airport to several Rochester hotels including the Kahler Grand Hotel. The shuttle takes about 90 minutes. The cost is $50 round trip (10% off regular rates) using this special link for Championships participants.

New! Airfare discounts with United Airlines: Through a partnership with the US Olympic Committee (USOC) and USA Table Tennis, take advantage of discounts between 5% and 12% (depending on where you're flying from) on United Airlines flights to the Championships (note that United does not fly direct to Rochester so this would only apply on flights to Minneapolis). Here's how to book:

Shuttle service (for guests of the Kahler hotels): Complimentary airport shuttle service is available for Championships attendees flying into Rochester International Airport and staying at the Kahler Grand Hotel or Kahler Inn and Suites. This complimentary service is only available at certain times, so be sure to book your arrival and departure within the specified window to take advantage:

  • Arrivals (airport to hotel shuttle): Thursday, noon to 9pm and Friday, 8am to 11am
  • Departures (hotel to airport shuttle): Sunday, noon to 8pm

For those arriving at other times, you'll have to arrange your own transportation from the airport.
