Mid Atlantic Regional Championships
This weekend at the Triangle Table Tennis club in North Carolina, the NCTTA brings yet another high caliber event in the 2015 NCTTA Mid Atlantic Regional Championships sponsored by TMS, Double Fish and Joola.
The Mid Atlantic Region will bring in schools from five different states, as far north as Pennsylvania and south to South Carolina.
Seemant Teotia, NCTTA Mid Atlantic Region Director tells us about the tournament. "I don't see one school that is going to run away with the title. It seems from first to last the schools are all very competitive with each other." Basically it's anyone's tournament!
One school to watch out for is the University of Maryland - College Park. Teotia says, "UMD missed out on last year's Regionals and had the best team in the region." This time however they are back and ready to go! Led by former junior phenom Charlie Sun, the Terrapins are out to fight this year!
All the fun starts and ends in one day, February 28th. Seemant Teotia and Spencer Ip are at the helm running the event. Come on out to the Triangle Table Tennis club and check out the competition!
